When you read a line like the one above, what comes into your mind? A special person? How about yourself being that person?
This morning I feel I want to share with you how you can be that person.
I want to be that person too.
FAST...SHARP ...ALWAYS READY
Is it possible you ask. I know how it is. The night people tell me that they are not morning people. That means they cannot be FAST, SHARP and READY in the morning but only in the night. The parents complain that their children could definitely never be...unless they are at their favourite activity. And of course children and teens have the same say about the adults, especially about grandma.
So
How does one switch on to be
FAST,SHARP and READY?
The answer is quite simple really.
Its called "movement"
Seniors, take heed - its not in watching TV and transforming into couch potatoes.
It's "movement".
Movement is the first sign of life for the unborn child.
Only living things move and when you cease to live, you cease to move.
That's where BRAIN GYM was born.

My dear 'old friend' (not 'old' friend). I have to disagree with you. You can tell your brain whatever you want, and vice versa; but nothing can stop the effects of ageing. What wise king Solomon calls 'evil days' (Ecc 12) will surely come. Your back and joints will become stiff, your eyes will dim no matter what your brain says. So what really matters is that we should try to accept our ageing process and learn to "number our days and apply our hearts unto wisdom'.

ReplyDeleteHmmm, I still don't know how to edit my own comment.
ReplyDeleteTo Chun See - you need to experience Brain Gym. Its not what you tell the brain but something you physically do.
That said, here's what I deleted from above. Copied down.
"I guess I have to answer with scripture: Ps:34 speaks of good days. To see good days, keep the tongue from evil - and evil is defined as disagreement with God's word.
There is a great mystery here that not all will be able to see and I like to leave it as that."
